Consonant saturnian aspects
by Richard Pellard
English translation by Julien Rouger

The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.

Consonant Saturn-Moon aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Moon ‘p’ ↔ Saturn ‘tE’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You maintain your well-being, your tranquility and your homogeneity by keeping a wise distance from anything that could disturb the harmony of your intimacy and your daily life. Cautious and reserved, you do not open up easily, and in any case not before having weighed and matured your words for a long time. Foresighted, you organize your daily life to protect it from chance and the vicissitudes of existence. Secret and modest, united but solitary, you can give the best of yourself for your group. Receptive to beings and atmospheres, you prefer to observe and dissect behaviors and situations, rather than intervene directly. The coldness or the absent-mindedness that often characterizes you do not prevent you from being welcoming and benevolent with those whom you have admitted, after mature reflection, into the clan of your intimates.

Consonant Saturn-Sun aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Sun ‘rR’ ↔ Saturn ‘tE’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You constantly strive to reconcile the affirmation and maintenance of your principles and ideals, with your sense of in-depth research and the skepticism that you owe to your perpetual questioning. You assert yourself and become convincing through your sense of abstraction, the rigor of your thinking, the prudence of your judgments matured over a long period of time. You want to be a model of depth and selflessness. Your quest for recognition, esteem or unconditional admiration does not prevent you from remaining humble, simple and modest, in short from keeping a cool head. Disciplined, thoughtful, you have a high awareness of your rights and duties. The certainties you display are all the more credible as you constantly sift through your doubts. The hard trials of existence stimulate your pride and encourage you to surpass yourself and improve yourself to stay up to yourself or your higher ideals.

Consonant Saturn-Mercury aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Mercury ‘tR’ ↔ Saturn ‘tE’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You are characterized by a subtle, penetrating mind, gifted with riddles, abstractions and rebuses. Your natural curiosity is combined with your propensity for complex and in-depth thinking. You strive to decipher the invisible and unravel mysteries in a way that is both imaginative and rigorous, forward-looking and analytical, keeping your mind free of prejudice and intellectual routine. From words, images and facts, you launch an assault on the unknown. Open and available for various encounters, endowed with a developed critical spirit and possibly a very cold sense of humor, you cannot help but probe and test your interlocutors to discover their backgrounds, their hidden motivations. At the same time mobile and thoughtful, cautious and far-sighted, you combine the brilliance of improvisation with cleverly and lengthily matured strategies.

Consonant Saturn-Venus aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Venus ‘eR’ ↔ Saturn ‘tE’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You are characterized by a complex and delicate affectivity, tender and deep feelings, by a cerebral nature which denies nothing of the realities of the heart. With you, the images-desires calling for immediate concretization are tempered by experience and cold reason. You dissect your likes and dislikes, likes and dislikes to try to glimpse their secret mechanisms, subtle causes, distant consequences or hidden meanings. Cautious and thoughtful, knowing that love and friendship are long and uncertain journeys, you strive to build stable, lasting and deep privileged relationships. You have a taste for rare pleasures and unknown, highly cerebral pleasures. You love with modesty, distance, silence and tenacity. Your feelings, by settling, gladly strip themselves of their emotional charge to turn towards abstraction or the quest for a hypothetical absolute. An austere thinker at times, you are not lacking in heart.

Consonant Saturn-Mars aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Mars ‘eE’ ↔ Saturn ‘tE’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You are characterized by great rigor in the way you act and confront people, things and circumstances. You are realistic and methodical, combative and organized, determined and thoughtful. Your composure is matched only by your pugnacity. The strategic distance you take from your struggles and experiences makes you very effective in deep concrete work, long-term works that require endurance, tenacity, physical and cerebral resistance. Difficult, thankless or complex situations, far from discouraging you, stimulate your fighting spirit. Enterprising researcher and practical mind, you wonder about the enigmas and mysteries of the material world, probe, test and dig beings and things to perfect your means of action and discover their hidden springs. A man of action, you are also wise and meditative, anxious to give your life and your experiences an extra-personal dimension.

Consonant Saturn-Jupiter aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Jupiter ‘rE’ ↔ Saturn ‘tE’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You are a good manager, reasonable and methodical, conscientious and organized, pragmatic and far-sighted. Your judgments are sure because they have been meditated on for a long time. Your social ambitions, the concern you have for conforming to the norms and models that regulate the life of your group do not prevent you from keeping a cool head and a reflective mind. You know how, when appropriate, to speak by weighing your words and respecting silence by knowing its virtues. Wise and balanced, subtle and diplomatic, full of common sense and prudence, you are not afraid to take on heavy and high responsibilities, provided they are socially rewarded and recognized. Your quest for material prosperity goes hand in hand with your taste for experimental philosophy. You manage your personal interests in the best of the general interest. The austerity of your reasoning is tempered by the eloquence and joviality of your speeches. You inspire confidence in the realms of the concrete and the tangible.

Consonant Saturn-Uranus aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Saturn ‘tE’ ↔ Uranus ‘rT’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You are a shrewd strategist, a subtle and precise calculator with a hyper-rigorous and ultra-organized brain. You draw from your in-depth experimental research and your silent meditations dazzling intuitions and strong ideas that you impose with careful but firm conviction. You hesitate all the less to powerfully impose your reasonings and decisions, matured and ruminated over a long time, since you have previously systematically sifted through your vigilant skepticism. You know all the better what you want that you have perfectly analyzed what you cannot. Your subtle analyzes give birth to surprising and rigorously logical summaries. You demonstrate your undeniable authority with Sioux wiles and imperturbable phlegm. Your ambitious goals are coldly calculated, methodically worked out : the surprises that you know how to create are in no way, for you, the result of chance. We praise your scrupulous sagacity and your conceptual audacity.

Consonant Saturn-Neptune aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Saturn ‘tE’ ↔ Neptune ‘eT’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You are a subtle, rigorous and penetrating analyst at the same time as an inspired and intuitive clairvoyant. You draw from your life and your experiences multiple questions and hypotheses to which your deep and quasi-psychic sensitivity responds with nuanced, undulating truths, all in finesse and chiaroscuro. You question the mystery and the unknown of tangible beings, things and situations, and the mystery, the unknown are revealed in halftones, in a living and vibrant complexity. Your scholarly abstractions, inseparable from your deep feelings, give birth to quivering realities from which you immediately abstract to once again question the invisible, the tenuous, the unspoken. Austere and generous, solitary and warm, cautious and whimsical, secretive with a tumultuous sensibility, you strive to rationalize your moods and give soul to reason. You express yourself through riddles and paradoxes, living in an elsewhere that you tirelessly seek to understand.

Consonant Saturn-Pluto aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile)

Saturn ‘tE’ ↔ Pluto ‘tT’ Conjunction (consonant or dissonant aspect) Trine (consonant aspect) Sextile (consonant aspect)

You maintain, in one way or another, whether by abstract reason or by an imperturbable phlegm, a cold and intense distance vis-à-vis beings, things and situations. A shrewd and subtle observer of facts, you have no illusions about anything or anyone. The only thing that counts for you is the essential invisible to the eyes, the unknown reverse side of the decor where the universal laws lurk, the hidden order of the world. Auscultating the experience and trusting your deep intuition of the mystery, you constantly ask yourself the fundamental questions, those which have only partial, paradoxical or enigmatic answers. The most difficult abstractions have no secrets for you, and the unknown is your favorite field. Complex, subtle, secretive, you do not easily reveal your opinions or intentions, or only do so with the utmost caution and circumspection. If you have a taste for power, it is for the shadows and behind the scenes that it is.

Les significations planétaires

par Richard Pellard

620 pages.
