The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
“rR-tE” issue (representation of Representation & transcendance of Existence). How to blend maintaining the absolute unique (Sun ‘rR’) with switching from the duo-duel to the multiple (Saturn ‘tE’)? How to operate together a passionate involvement and an experimental scepticism? How to maintain one’s certainties while pondering the complexities of experience? This aspect excludes levels ‘e’ (affective sensoriality) and ‘T’ (prospective imagination).
You constantly strive to reconcile the affirmation and maintenance of your principles and ideals, with your sense of in-depth research and the skepticism that you owe to your perpetual questioning. You assert yourself and become convincing through your sense of abstraction, the rigor of your thinking, the prudence of your judgments matured over a long period of time. You want to be a model of depth and selflessness. Your quest for recognition, esteem or unconditional admiration does not prevent you from remaining humble, simple and modest, in short from keeping a cool head. Disciplined, thoughtful, you have a high awareness of your rights and duties. The certainties you display are all the more credible as you constantly sift through your doubts. The hard trials of existence stimulate your pride and encourage you to surpass yourself and improve yourself to stay up to yourself or your higher ideals.
Balanced dissonance : you switch alternately from maintaining your certainties (Sun) to an experimental scepticism (Saturn), without being able to bring yourself to choose. Depending on whether one or the other function dominates in your experience, you can adopt the following attitudes :
If and when the Sun dominates : draped in a high awareness of yourself, barricaded in your certainties, you fear above all abandonment, questioning, complex and indecipherable situations. You strive to ward off the doubts that undermine you from within by donning the impassive mask of a misunderstood solitary bearer of obvious and eternal truths. You thus willingly play the severe lesson giver, even though you are not so assured in your convictions as you let it appear. Egocentric and proud, secretly anxious and worried, you flee situations or beings likely to undermine or challenge your authority or your character in depth. In one way or another, you defend established values against the sneaky corrosions and metamorphoses that threaten them.
If and when Saturn dominates : hardened in your skepticism by experience, you believe in nothing, and especially not in simple, monolithic, reassuring certainties, to such an extent that you doubt everything and everyone, including yourself. You take refuge in your own self, in your austere ruminations to protect yourself from the gaze and judgment of others. Solitary, cold, calculating, taciturn, you refuse, out of excessive caution or fear, to commit yourself, to get involved in any role or purpose whatsoever. By dint of not being recognized, celebrated, admired, praised—it must be said that you do nothing to achieve this—you may be tempted to lock yourself up in bitterness and renunciation, unless you dwell on the silence of your being of secret ambitions and inaccessible dreams of glory. At best, your wisdom, your rigor and your disinterestedness are not recognized by anyone, and you suffer silently from it.
If you learned to control this dissonance, you know that there is a time for experimental curiosity and a time for maintaining your convictions, and know how to flawlessly alternate these two functions.
If you managed to sublimate this dissonance, you have deliberately sacrificed acquiring any shallow certainties for the sake of a laborious experimental research ; or you have abdicated any disenchanted pursuit of the hidden meaning of your experiences in favour of reliable models and rules.

La décision de ne traiter dans ce livre que des significations planétaires ne repose pas sur une sous-estimation du rôle des Signes du zodiaque et des Maisons.
