The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
“p-P” issue (intensive power & extensive Power). How to blend a homogeneous wholeness (Moon ‘p’) with maintaining the absolute unique (Sun ‘rR’)? How to operate together a receptive casualness and a passionate involvement? How to intimately own maintaining one’s certainties? This aspect excludes levels ‘E’ (sense of the concrete), ‘e’ (affective sensoriality), ‘T’ (prospective imagination) and ‘t’ (cold critical thinking).
You perceive yourself as the absolute center of a homogeneous universe of which you are an integral part. Your quest for recognition, esteem, unconditional admiration does not prevent you from remaining fully yourself : you give a strong image of yourself but without artifice, in accordance with your intimate nature. Staying up to your ideals, models and principles does not cost you : this is how you feel comfortable, good about yourself. The goals you give yourself reflect the possibilities inherent in the overall situation in which he is immersed. Voluntary but in favor of the least effort, you never decide on anything without being strong in a reliable support or in a supportive and familiar environment. You are looking for a relationship of osmosis, of fusion where you would be the object of permanent attention. Capable yourself of exemplary solidarity, you demand total reciprocity in this area. You want to be the king, both demanding and good-natured, of your little universe.
Balanced dissonance : you switch alternately from maintaining your certainties (Sun) to a restful cosiness (Moon), without being able to bring yourself to choose. Depending on whether one or the other function dominates in your experience, you can adopt the following attitudes :
If and when the Moon dominates : attached to your peace of mind, your well-being and your peace of mind, you have a hard time appearing, playing the role expected of you, asserting yourself as an individual, adapting socially. Suggestive and nonchalant, your abandonment to sweet daydreams prevents you from any sustained attention, any vigilant concentration. You vegetate in a peaceful anarchy, in deep osmosis with your surrounding environment, and avoid like the plague the moments when it is essential to formulate clear objectives, to make binding decisions. To the logic of normative models, you oppose the subjectivity of your disorderly imagination. Too comfortable in your bubble, you are anxious about leaving it to get involved in a goal, a project, a relationship. Your global perception of the world seems incompatible with any strong and structured model.
If and when the Sun dominates : in the name of an ideal, a desire to set an example or strict moral principles, you forbid yourself any abandonment, any letting go, any peaceful plenitude. Hyper-aware and self-controlled, you stress to keep yourself at the level of the pattern you identify with. Your desire to appear, to be admired and recognized blocks in you everything natural and any receptivity to beings and climates. Your simplistic reasoning, based on dogmatic certainties and a priori, is constructed despite any coherence, any overall vision. You impose your goals and your projects by rowing against the current of circumstances, of any buoyant atmosphere. If you take pride in showing that you are heroically resisting the easy way out, you are very likely to fail by dint of cutting yourself off from all support and all bonds of solidarity.
If you learned to control this dissonance, you know that there is a time for maintaining your convictions and a time for restful cosiness, and know how to flawlessly alternate these two functions.
If you managed to sublimate this dissonance, you have deliberately sacrificed any restful laziness for the sake of reliable models and rules ; or you have abdicated any shallow certainties in favour of a peaceful cosiness.
